Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This is my first F-body. I'd never even been in one before this. Just got a wild hair for something with a V8 and rear wheel drive since I never got to have a cool car when I was younger.. I started looking at Camaros and Firebirds in the Winter of 2001. I really wanted a new one since 2002 was going to be the last year but just couldn't swing the $30k . In March of 2002 while going through the used car ads I came across this car and fell in love. The color and wheels were unusual for this area. I went out to test drive it and drove it home that afternoon. I did not know a thing about the after market performance products available for it and honestly was loving the car as it was and didn't think it could ever be any better. Never thought at the time it would become the beast it is today. I can thank the good people here on LS1tech.com and also the local enthusiasts at highperformancetoys.com for opening my eyes to the possibilities.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
This is my new motor that was built over the Winter in 2008. Power is at 540rwhp/472rwtq on 9psi of boost and pump gas.

Forged LS1 with Diamond pistons, Eagle rods, Texas Speed LS6 heads, Comp cam 228/232 .585int/.595ex 115lsa, LS6 intake, 60# injectors, Nasty Performance dual 255lph in tank pumps, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.

P1SC Procharger at 9psi

Hooker long tube headers and Y pipe, Magnaflow catback.

Extreme Transmissions level 3 4L65E

Yank ST3500 2.5 str

Strange 12 bolt with heavy duty posi, 33 spline axles, 3.73 gear

Suspension Modifications:
BMR heaven here! Weld on sub-frame connectors, adjustable LCA's, Adjustable panard bar, non adjustable torque arm and torque arm relocation bracket, shock tower brace.

Lakewood drive shaft loop

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
17x9.5 Fiske mag wheels with Riken Raptor 275/40/ZR17 tires

ZR1 chrome wheels. 17x9.5 all around except for a pair of 16x8 with MT drag radials for drag racing.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Dual gauge pod with fuel pressure and boost on pillar. Interceptor scan gauge mounted on console.

Future Modifications:
Upgraded from my P1 to a D1 last Summer and the boost is up to about 12psi. Having to switch to a speed density tune as the mass air flow sensor now maxes out at 5k rpm and makes the motor go off the chart rich. LOL Stay tuned for new numbers Read more ยป
