I was driving on the florida turnpike @ 11pm at night @ about an even 100mph cruise control when all of asudden (i think my steering shaft came loose), lost control of the car, went nose first into the guard rail, everything goes black, said to myself "this is it" and surrendered myself to death and didnt prepare for impact. Stock pump to the left and walbro “GSS342” 255 to the right, the inlet are different sizes and want it to sit flush on the cup just like stock. Any ideas?

Also with the stock rubber gasket that goes at the top of the pump will fit but I will not be able to enclose the pump in the cup as it will leave an 8th of an inch open on the cap/cover. 🤔
