Given that lead exposure makes people less intelligent and the massive levels of lead California's city's were exposed to it's no wonder so many looney's & nutcases come from Cali's big city's. Estimates are the average mid century American has an IQ 3 points lower than it should be due to leaded gas and pollution. In highly poluted concentrated areas like big California IQ loss is estimated to be more than 6 IQ points.

Hard (for me) to believe the 99 T/A has been in the garage for 24 years in February 2023, the 91RS for 33 years in May 2023 and 72 vette for 40 years in March 2023. The 02 Z28 for 5 years in April 2023.

The unported BBK sucks compared to the unported LSXRT. The Mamo ported LSXR follows better than the unported LSXRT. 

Opinion based on data vvvv

The BBK without lots of porting, lots of testing and lots of expense isn’t going to out flow a Mamo ported Fast LSXR intake manifold in a cathedral application regardless of which cathedral head stock, ported or aftermarket is sitting under the BBK manifold. The BBK is a terrible starting point for an intake  for an air hungry 427 that turns ~6,200 rpm

Note how much more air the ported LS3 heads can move than the LPE GMPP 243's. The LPE GMPP 243's were one of the very few cathedral ported heads to actually break 300cfm on this flow bench.

A set of a high quality ported LS3 heads is very competitive with aftermarket cathedral heads but $1,000 less expensive.

Summit has TFS 235's a pair costs $2,750
Add in cost of BBK $900 + porting $500 to $1000
