HOLLY MOTHER OF....WTF Was I thinking valve lift. Lifter preload is just under .100 That leaves around .080 that the lifter will compress before it starts to open the valve in this case. Give the 1.7 rockers that means I'm seeing about .136 less lift in this pic then it will once the lifters have oil in them.
