I live in St Louis and I park my truck on the street. I'm one of those poor people that can only afford a .553 lift camshaft and the cheapest springs to go with it. The engine in my truck is a flat top 5.3 with 706 heads that I put together myself out used parts for less than $600 bucks. It's fine though I was in the army so I'm used to going with the lowest bidder.
I'll agree that on an engine dyno from 3000rpm you migh see a gain all things being equal going from .550-.600 but most people
