This is what MDL calls a “push-pull” lever. In my case, the spherical bearing was not articulating properly. When I hung the clutch pedal, the pedal wouldn’t return to its “at rest” position. I spoke with MDL and they had me isolate the lever and it still was binding and not allowing the clutch pedal to freely return to it’s at rest position. I removed the push-pull lever and sent it back to MDL. They shipped me a replacement and it worked perfectly!
