Stayed with the red coil covers for obvious reasons. After-market AC to make plumbing easier.

If you look close the interior of vette was done in 1990 I think. I used SEM then and am still happy with the results. The car needs a redo...Has a 406 small block and I want to put LS7 in it. I got sidetracked with ELKY.

2000 LS1 Corvette had 9,000 miles on it when I purchased it off E-Bay from F-Parts in Bristol Pa. When I took it off the truck I was amazed as to what care was taken in not damaging anything when removing it from the car. I had to purchase the drive by wire pedal and module separately. Don't listen to everyone, it's not a problem like they say. We changed the AC to aftermarket to make the plumbing easier and also the upper radiator hose mount was replaced with a straight fitting.

Since this photo was taken, I have installed a Kenwood system with navigation. Also an OnStar mirror. With the Dakota system it makes it easier for EVERYTHING to work. The only problem is where to mount the rear speakers and still keep the spare in the cab.

A big mistake I made in going with a 9" Ford with 350 gears. The fabrication was done by an out of town shop. The gears they used had to be made in China. They growled on first drive. We called and then sent them back after listening to a bunch of......... When we got them back with no explanation. the second set did the same thing. If it hadn't been for marking the 1st set I would swear they sent the same ones back. My calls were not answered the second time around. Now looking to change.

The engine compartment is complete and ready for the motor. Notice motor mounts are installed as well as all the new brake and fuel lines. new plastic fender wells. We had to adjust them slightly.

I sprayed the interior after scrubbing and then wiping down with acetone. The product I used was SEM. I used this in 1989 when I did my '62 vette. Still looks good. I used the white to cover the blue grey factory plastic. Then sprayed red. Other wise the color was to deep, almost a maroon. After everything was done I sprayed a satin finish clear coat on it. The seats and door panels were done in Ultra Leather. Great feel and I'm glad I found it.
