Chevy's New Extreme Track Car - The 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE (Photos)
The add the new ZL1 1LE track-focused option packages to the 2018 Camaro, and you get a car that will knock the socks off your feet. In addition, most of the 1LE track package can be had on lesser V8, V6, and even 4 cylinder turbo Camaros.
1. Extreme Handling
The 1LE Track Performance Package comes with some upgrades that make the Camaro handle better than ever before. The package includes upgraded suspension, which offers front-end ride height and caster adjustment, as well as three-way adjustable rear stabilizer bar. The shocks are advanced, lightweight Multimatic DSSV (Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve) dampers, using technology right out of the top racing leagues. To complement the track suspension, this package comes equipped with lightweight forged aluminum wheels, which are lighter but smaller diameter, and Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R summer only tires. All in all, you have a 10% bigger rubber footprint than lesser Camaros without the 1LE package.

2. Performance
The 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE is focused on one thing and one thing only: on track performance. The ZL1 LT4 engine is tweaked and supercharged to make 650hp, and is only available with a six-speed manual transmission. Thankfully you get all the latest computer aids, because otherwise that motor will burn your expensive supercar tires with just a small touch of the throttle.

3. Additional Features
Along with the track suspension and the supercharged motor, the 2018 Camaro ZL1 with the 1LE Track Performance Package comes with Brembo 4 piston brakes. You also get Active Rev Match, which gooses the throttle when you downshift, making flawless, professional racer shifts. Despite the monstrous on track performance, your new Camaro ZL1 1LE will give you pleasureful entertainment on the way to the track, courtesy of the Bose premium stereo, and keep you comfortable with heated and ventilated seats and heated steering wheel.

4. Aero and Appearance Package
The ZL1 1LE package includes functional aerodynamic tweaks, which improve the look as well, with carbon-fiber rear wing, air deflectors, and front dive planes, making this car grip like it's holding on for its dear life. For a unique look, consider the Redline Edition package for any Camaro, which offers multiple red detail accents all around the exterior. Redline Camaros come with red bowtie emblems, a grille with red accents, and red-accented wheels, as well as blacked-out mirrors, taillights, and graphics on the hood. No matter what you go with, the 2018 Camaro is going to look good, and perform anywhere from fun to amazing.

5. 1LE Track Performance Package Cost
The Track Performance Package is gogin to be offered with any Camaro, even the lowly 2.0 liter turbo powered LS or LT, for $7,500 on top of the original price. Opt for the supercharged ZL1 trim level and you are looking at a total of $69,995, for a Camaro that will blow your mind and even out handle many Corvettes. It may seem like overkill,but if you enjoy taking your daily driver to the track, the 1LE package includes all the mods you were going to have to do anyway, and then some.
