A Camaro Built to Dominate

This isn’t your typical 1969 Chevy Camaro. Named “The Closer,” it’s a custom creation from Timeless Kustoms that packs 800 horsepower under its hood. With a menacing, dark aesthetic and a $500,000 price tag, this car is built to intimidate. Jason Pecikonis, the man behind the build, knew the challenge of making a Camaro stand out in a crowded field of muscle car restorations. His solution? A sleek but aggressive design, with every modification purposeful rather than flashy, creating a true monster on the road.

Handling Like a Modern Supercar

Pecikonis didn’t just focus on power—handling was a top priority. He equipped the Camaro with a Detroit Speed suspension system, hydroformed front subframe, and JRi shocks to ensure it performs like a modern car. The fenders were widened to fit 19-inch HRE wheels with Pirelli Corsa Rosso tires, providing extra grip and stability. These modifications give “The Closer” a supercar feel without sacrificing its classic muscle car roots, proving that this car is meant for the road, not just the showroom.

The Powerhouse Engine

At the heart of this beast lies a supercharged 6.2-liter Chevrolet LS9 V8 engine. Modified by Kong Performance, the engine pushes 800 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission for full driver control. To keep the car reliable for daily use, the power has been kept in check—more than enough to dominate any street or track but built to last without sacrificing driveability.

Stopping Power to Match

With so much power under the hood, stopping is just as important. Brembo carbon ceramic brakes have been installed to ensure “The Closer” can stop on a dime. These high-performance brakes, combined with the car’s enhanced suspension, mean the Camaro can handle both high-speed runs and sharp turns without compromise.

Modern Interior, Classic Design

Inside, the 1969 Camaro gets a modern upgrade while staying true to its roots. A digital Holley instrument cluster replaces the old gauges, offering real-time data. The cabin is wrapped in red, featuring Recaro bucket seats, a Sparco steering wheel, and a five-point seatbelt system for safety. These additions ensure the car feels like a race-ready machine while remaining street-legal.

A $500,000 Masterpiece

After years of work and meticulous attention to detail, “The Closer” sold for half a million dollars. The build itself cost $480,000, with every modification focused on making this car not just a showpiece but a true performance vehicle. Now headed to its new owner in Florida, this Camaro will continue turning heads.
