How do you reset the service engine soon light?

1. Turn key on but don't start car.
2. Pull PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment.
3. Wait a few minutes.
4. Turn ignition off.
5. Replace fuses.
It will take the car a while to relearn the fuel and timing curves so don't worry about a temporary performance loss.

FYI,
every time you force DTC errors cleared you not only force PCM to have to relearn but you also just wacked all the onboard PCM I/M smog tests and some can take as much as 40 plus valid drive cycles to be back into a "Completed" passed state.
I suggest you let the error age out and clear by itself for then all the smog tests that were in a passed state still are.
Aging out may only take be like 3 drive cycles IF the problem has been corrected.

Thinks I used your method and it worked great. The code had come up because of a plug wire that wasnt secure.
