bolt on 99 TA 12.20@110
First pass of the year at ESTA test and tune. Probably too warm for 11s (75 or so) but with 1.73 60 ft, car went 7.773 @ 90 in eigth and 12.203 at 110 in quarter. Been quicker but given temp and first passes on MT Drag radials I wasn't too disappointed. I'll play with tune a bit and wait for fall air or maybe sneak up to Empire some evening. Mods are hooker long tubes, ls6 manifold, slp lid and belows, yank 3600, B&M transmission, stock 10 bolt w 3.23, skinnies, no front sway bar, spohn torque arm, bmi control arms, larger rear sway, and chris 1313 non ac kit with a bunch of weight reduction. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated. I was leaving off idle and wondered how much difference stalling up would make.

Another test and tune at ESTA on 9/20 and squeezed in a couple more passes. Can't seem to get the car to bite like I'd like but with et street radials at 19 pounds had a best of 12.1868 @ 110.83. 60 foot was 1.7410 and eighth mile was 7.7630 @ 89.41. Hopefully I'll get another shot or two before the year's out and see if I can get my 60s down where I'd like. Is 19 pounds a good setting for the radials or should I go down to 16 or 17? Also, had shift points around 6250/6300. Is that too high for a bolt on only car? Should I bring them down to 6100 or so? Any help is appreciated.

I like to run my mickey et streets at 17 psi the first pass then check and they will probably be around 19-20 psi then I drop them back down to 17-18 psi and usually good to go the rest of the day.
I'm kinda the same setup as you and find my best 60' is flashing the converter with my yank ss3600.

Shift points may be too high, my m6 car doesn't like when i shift over around 6000 rpm. Its hard to tell where mine likes it the best but i can say when i try to rev a gear out a little more i lose et and mph.
Your car being a auto will probably react different than mine on shift points. I would drop one of the gear shifts down to say 6000 for a few runs and compare all the time and mph segments to some runs with the shift points how you have them now. 6100 may be better.
I have my shift light set at 5700 just to give u an idea. 1st to 2nd is normally at 5900, then 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th it ends up between 5700 and 5800.

M6 car here too. (full weight, bolt-ons w/ 3.23's on street tires). I get everything out of 1st gear, but I lose MPH if I do that in 2nd and 3rd gear too. I think lowering your shift points is a good idea.

Very similar mods and times to my car.
My Frost tune is set to 6000rpm and she barks the tires in second.
I run 275/40/17's all the way around with MT DR's on the back.
They are set at 25psi and I see how I am hooking and go from there usually 20-22 psi works best for me.
Looking for a high 11 tonight, the air should be great.
Good luck with your ride.

Well the DA was good -290 ft at a track that is 630ft ASL but the 25mph head wind wasn't.
Still got a New PB 60ft and and ET in the sig.
Tire pressure on the MT 275/40/17 DR's was 25psi on that run.
I blew the tires off in the right lane so I lowered it to 21psi but all the street cars and FWD cars ate the starting up by 9pm.

Sunday forecast here is high of about 50. Hopefully the rain will hold off and I'll be able to get a couple more shots at it in some real good air.

Made it out to opening day at ESTA and going it the right direction. Cool day at around 50 for the high and got ahold of the track enough for a 1.7059 60 ft time and a quarter mile time of 12.0720 @ 111.67. Bit more tuning and, hopefully, a not so green track and I think the 11s will be easy. Ordered a carbon fiber hood to take a bit more weight off since I have the stock steel one.

Don't you just hate when your within a 10th of your next milestone and you just can't get there.
You should be in the 11's shortly.

After a couple rainouts, made it to a test and tune and snuck her in there, 11.96 @ 112. Air wasn't the best but track was good and 60' was 1.66. Backed it up with a 11.98 and 12.00.

Hard to say as I changed a couple other things when I put it in. I'm guessing a mile or two anyways. On the HP Tuner scan you can actually see the IAT go down as I went down the track. Been happy with it over the SLP cold air kit I had before.
