I only have about $2800.00 in my car. It's a 2002 A4 with SLP lid, K&N filter, SLP MAF, TB bypass, free ram air mod, jet hot hooker LT's and 3" y-pipe, Magnaflow exhaust, PTC 3500 Stall converter, Custom tune and MT ET street DR's. Went a 12.60 @ 108 mph 1.74 60ft, 8.0 1/8 mile @ 86.22 MPH, 10.50 1000 ft.

Drag Radials ~$350
Full Exhaust (LT's & ORY & catback) ~$800 and up (depending on quality)
Total=$1250

Or

Drag Radials ~$350
Stall converter ~$700
Total=$1050

Both of these should do it.

I got in the 12's with about $600 spent on my old 99 A4 Z28. Free mods, slp cai, bellow, lid, ported tb, tb bypass, !ft swaybar, 3" cutout on stock exhaust, & nittos. I ran a 13.04 and then went to the pits, pulled the filter out and ran a 12.94. Everything else was stock on that car.

not alot of money i just got in the 12's about 5 hours ago, i just have lid/filter, cat back, tb bypass, +free mods. today was first 12.901 best ever.

and i also have a A4, its not a disavantage on the track!! best bet is to is to do all the lil stuff, that adds up, plus try lowering your tire press some and work on brake torque
