no offense taken- I merely did it just to be different. I was planning on swapping a 2J in it but after doing some research decided to go with the LS1. I did not build this car to be the fastest thing on the road or to take everyones money with. I simply built it to be different. At the time there were only 2 Z's documented with the LS1 swap so you can only imagine the heads it turned at every stop light and car show or event.

Car ran a 13.7 on street tires, a soft launch and with a fouled plug due to no fuel pressure regulator 3 weeks after the swap was complete. The car should very easily run 12's with some radials and a descent launch now. Throw some gas on it and run even faster.
Like I said though, thats not why I built the car. This car was only driven on the weekends and trailored to car shows for the most part.

Wow! Thats a pretty incredible price! $3000 for a "LS1" swapped "Z32"?? Thats less than what the motor and tranny would cost alone! You would be a fool not buy a steal like that.

That being said, the VG30dett (the Z32 motor) is significantly heavier than an LS1, especially with all the turbo parts included in the weight.
It would still be kind of heavy though.
Good luck with the sale OP.
