i was torn between a couple of cams for my car. i have a stock ls1 with a t70 turbo running 9lbs, im looking to get a pair of 6.0 heads and a nice turbo cam, i found a couple, one i was told was good for a turbo set up is..
224/230 .612/.612 116 LSA from lep but once i looked it lep says its for a supercharger not a turbo, then another i found from lep that is supose to be for turbos is...
595 595 236 234 117LSA any idea which one is better? and im open to suggestions too!! thanks!!

which cam is more radical? tu2? specs are
TU1 225 225 .581 .581 113
TU2 236 236 .587 .587 112.5
obviously the higher lift and longer duration means it will be more lumpy correct? i want something that sounds crazy as ****! but i sont want to lose power either, im looking to upgrade to 6.0 heads and a t76 with about 12-15lbs

He was right when he told you about needing something with more overlap. Lift will not help determine that equation.
Here is some free math for ya:
TU1 = -1° of overlap. You should be able to distinguish that the car is cammed.
TU2 = +11° of overlap. DEFINITELY noticeable. Even Helen Keller would know the car is cammed.

Overlap = ((intake duration + exhaust duration)/4 - LSA)x2.
For example:
224/224 114LSA
224+224=448. 448/4=112. 112-114= -2. -2x2= -4.
So that 224/224 cam would have -4 degrees of overlap.
A "split" cam has different intake and exhaust durations, like a 224/228 or a 232/234. These are "traditional" split cams, with more exhaust duration than intake. A reverse split cam has a higher intake duration than exhaust duration, like a 230/224. An "even" split or single-pattern cam has the same intake and exhaust duration, like a 224/224 or 228/228.

If you are asking about an MS4 cam for a turbo, then you need to start back at the beginning and forget the cam knowledge you currently have.
I would call one of the sponsors and tell them what you want. They are going to be able to tell you what works and what doesnt. I dont think there isnt a valid sponsor on here that couldnt take care of you on this. Any of the 5 that I listed in the #2 post will be more than happy to take care of you regarding your build.
