Changing spring in oil pump?
Alright I just go my engine back from the shop and I noticed the spring is purple in the oil pump. I bought the lighter tension spring for him to put in there so I can have higher oil pressure at higher rpms. But I don't remember the spring being purple. Am I wrong? If I'm not wrong is the spring easy to change? If so I'll just order another spring and do it myself. Thanks for any help.

Yeah I didn't think it was purple. My engine is at my buddies house right now, but from what I remember there is a tiny bar holding it in. Do you just get a needle nose or something to slide that bar out? Or am I way off.

It's held in with a roll pin. You'll need something fairly small to tap it out with like a pin punch. I just used an allen wrench that was slightly smaller than the roll pin and it worked just fine.
