? about using LS6 cam for turbo LQ4
can anyone tell me what valve springs i should use, and also what length pushrods i need.?
i understand i can use LS6 valvesprings but didnt know if i should use something a little stiffer to help control the valves with all of the boost/backpressure...? or is this nonsense? lol
thanks in advance

i dont wanna get too far off topic but real quick can i get an opinion on injectors too? i had planned on running 80lbers, for some room to grow, but how would i do with 60lbers.
looking to make 650rwhp.

Thats also a good question im hoping it will work without much trouble to my goal of 600-650rwhp, another things is i dont intend on revving my motor over 6000 rpm... hopefully itll all work out.

you guys otta look at the ls6 cam this way as far as rpm peak, if you're shifting at 6500 and the cam is peaking tq at say 5800, well that'd be saving someone's *** in the detonation dept cuz detonation happens at peak tq, so if you're revving on past that point, than you're pushing away the chance of detonatiing the engine. point is dont cam for peak tq at your peak rpm, if you do, better run the best fuel you can get your hands on.

just get the patriot gold spring kit,
comes with titanium retainers, valve seals and duel springs for around $255
60lb injectors will do fine, I'm at 700rwhp at 85% duty cycle.
but if your thinking E85 in the future, go the 80s now.

If you are going to run very high boost, I'd go ahead and get a dual spring. If it's only moderate boost I would run the PAC1218 or 1518. Give us a call and we will give you a good deal on both some springs and the 7.425 pushrods.

I chose a TR224-.581/.581-114 over the Ls6 cam just to get a little more outa the setup and keep great drivebility.
For springs, i have patriot gold duals. Having slightly overkill springs is just cheap insurence in my eyes.
