Fuel pressure accuracy via OBD-II?
What's the accuracy of the fuel pressure reading with a scanner/logger via the OBD-II port verses a manual in-line gauge?
I'm getting an OBD-II to iPhone cable today and i need to check my fuel pressure and was wondering if what i will be reading is fairly accurate.

They list Fuel pressure and Fuel Rail Pressure.
I guess they use information from other sensors along with a highly inaccurate algorithm that attempts to calculate fuel pressure then?
Similar to the horsepower and torque readouts.
Or the T/A's don't have that particular data stream?

I have cobbled up a Kavlico sender to a cheapo Actron
mechanical gauge (1/8 NPT fitting)and an aftermarket
fuel pressure gauge. Idea being to have in-cabin fuel
pressure visibility without in-cabin fuel. These two agree
well. The output could be tapped out and put to the EIO
interface as well, or you could cobble up your own bias
circuitry. You can get the transfer curve data V/PSI
from Kavlico. But I'd be looking for the same ground-offset
issues as with widebands.
