-Aim for rouhgly 9.7-10.2:1 compression
Fuel-
-Dual 255 intank
-80lb inj.
Turbo-
-TC78
-44-60mm WG
trans-
I prefer a TH400 but,
th350 w/brake 3000 Stall.
With good gas, a solid tune, and your planned 15lbs of boost, 9's should come easily.

8.8-9.5:1 Compression (JE Pistons, Decent Rods)
Fuel -
Agreed
Turbo -
Stay away from Turbonetics, Turbonetics = inefficient/wasted money
Precision 76HPS Billet Wheel/78HPS
WG = Turbosmart 40-50mm

Depends on what you're doing but a glide is definitely better than any 350/400. Don't listen to the people who say Glides arent "streetable." They probably havent driven one/had one on the street. They are MORE streetable than a TH transmission...Fact.
With this, you will enjoy it way more than a 3 speed and a less efficient Tnetics.
Josh, no offense. I respect the work you do, but start using Precision Turbos, utilizing Powerglides with a Neil Chance converter and you will have happier customers and faster ET's.
Fact.

You are correct in the Fact that there are always better Turbo's, Tansmission's, Conveter's and so forth that will yeild better ET's. However those components are not always in the bugets of the customer. I make sure my customers get the best components that they can get with in thier respective budget.

if its too small you could have boost creep problems...
it may not be able to release all the pressure it need to if its tiny...
they can get pricy thats for sure... but there is always someone sellin used stuff its you want to keep on a good budget..

Hey guys, don't mean to be hijacking the thread, but if you have easy access to e85, would you consider doing the conversion? from what I understand it's pretty easy with some 60lb or 80lb injectors and dual walbros. Just need to tune for it and makes sure you can supply enough fuel. Sounds like there is good returns on e85 and allows for more timing. Thoughts? I'm doing a single turbo setup this winter so I've thought about it since I have a couple gas stations within a mile of my house with e85.

if you want to make big power on e85 then you need huge injectors...
also just depends on where you are in the country..
e85 is all over the mid west... and its cheap...
out in the central valley of cali... i know of one pump station that has it... and thats out of a 50+ mile radius.
OP Tial makes good stuff and fairly good prices too.. just make sure its big enough..

Sounds like a solid build. IMO just go with what you want and what will fit your driving style. You can always lose weight in the end to get where you want or upgrade compononents here and there. IMO it's all about matching the components to you, your car and what you want to do with it.

Are you sure it will hold up? I was told by alot of people it wouldnt, thats why I went with a Strange S60.
I suppose you are an auto, and I am a 6speed so that does change things
