Like everyone has said GMHTP. Also checkout the major bookstores for LS related material. They have several how to guides from tuning to engine building and are very informative. I have several in my library and reference to them quite often.

Yes they are and they test a lot. That would be an awesome job to have.
The newest of the Workbench How to guides from SA Designs are nice too they have all color photos...over 600! I just bought two..."How to rebuild GM LS series engines" and "How to build Big Inch GM LS series engines". They have about a 150 pages each and go into every little detail for the do it yourselfer. I highly recommend them to anyone.... Hell I always like to learn.
