If there is gas actually dripping out of the exhaust, DO NOT RUN THE CAR AT ALL! This is washing the cylinders down and can cause catastrophic damage.

Recent mods? Sounds like an injector(s) is stuck open or there are a couple cylinders that are not firing.

Pull your plugs and see if they all look like they're firing.

Another update after frying my freshly rebuilt ls1 block (what I think due to fuel dumping out the exhaust took about 2 minutes to ruin months worth of work) I finally was able to install a ls3 swap into my 1999 ws6 Trans am... I crank it up and what do you ******* know the muffler is still leaking fuel

Bud, I don't think you not getting a reply is lack of interest. It might have more to do with people reading it, scratching their heads and going "WTF!".

I'm not one of the master mechanics on this site, but, I'll throw out a couple of ideas...
- is it possible that it is left over fuel from the previous motor?
- did you reuse any item from your old motor that could cause the same failure? (bad coil(s), bad coil harness, break in the harness not allowing coil to fire)

Same problem with two different motors generally points to a problem with a shared component.

I don't think its left over fuel from the old engine (its a whole new engine :/) ...the only thing I am reusing on both setups is the car wiring harness and fuel pump. everything on the engine is brand new even the coils, spark plugs, and injectors/injector rails.sensors)
yea I'm puzzled with this car, regardless of causes I'm getting It tuned and hopefully the shop can figure out what is going on with it.

On the left over fuel comment I was more thinking it may have been left over fuel trapped in the muffler / exhaust system.

The tuner should definitely be able to see where your issue is coming from. Good luck with it and post what the issue ends up being, you've got me curious as heck...

I find it hard to believe that it's actually raw fuel leaking out of the exhaust, Most likely condensation and fuel vapors not actual fuel. An engine would most likely hydro-lock if that much fuel is unburnt. If the computer you're running isn't tuned for the engine then don't run it until the tuner can make some adjustments.

"The only thing I am reusing on both setups is the car wiring harness"

I just got done taking my finals at school and got my car back from vector motorsoprts seems like my #5 injector is stuck open (i ran a noid test, continuous ground to the wires) that's my problem haha .... So what do I do in this situation changing the harness sounds like a pain in the ***/ costly (some mechanics are telling me I need a pcm ? .... Anyways tomorrow I will check my wiring going on the Pcm prongs see if that changes anything (it's hard to believe that my wire is grounded is that even possible ?
