10 inch subwoofer + amp question
I have a custom fit sub box where the factory 8 disc would be. I'm looking for a great ten inch sub.. now the thing is, is that I want to have an amp hidden, I'm thinking under the seat. I know there are amps made for tight spaces like that. What do you guys recommend? Sound quality is the most important to me.

The spare tire area is the easiest place to hide an amp, but there are a couple out there that should fit under your seat.
Off the top of my head:
Kenwood XR600-1
Rockford Fosgate PBR300-1
Rockford Fosgate PBR500-1
Small profile and pretty good power, more than enough for all but the nastiest of 10" subs.

my ta came with a mtx setup, thing fooled me and i thought it was factory until i removed the speaker cover. the amp is integral to the box to, imo mtx is a great option for you as well ( the local audio installer uses mtx woofers and pioneer head units) You nearly cant go wrong with a good 10in behind the wheel well in the f-body, with a big hatch the thing seems to match the 3 1o" w/1000 watt combo ive had in my dd sedan for yrs.

i have had an addictive audio amp hidden in the spare tire area for about five years, no overheating issues at all. they are a good brand for subs and amps if you can find them.

They do make some small amps alpine pdx amps are on the small side, jbl has some nice ones(8x8) A really nice new one is soundigital nano 400.1 it's like the size of a multimeter
For a sub I'd look into a jl audio 10w6v3 it's perfect for a small sealed enclosure like that corner.
All depends on how much you wanna spend on it. Couple hundred will work or spend a grand and get something real nice
