Anyone make a non computer controlled 4L60E?
I thought I remembered seeing a transgo kit that allowed you to convert a 4L60E to non computer controlled. I know they make one for the 4L80E's.
I have the vac mod.
What I'm thinking of is putting a '98 LS1 (with the edelbrock carb intake and computer) and it's A4 into a 2000 S10. I don't want to use a 700R4 because of the BS involved to get it bolted up with only five bolts, plus I have two high stall LS1 converters to choose from to use for this swap.
Any idea what happened to this kit, or am I confused with something else?

I would like to have the option of running one of the two LS1 4L60E converters I have. Plus I'd like to use all eight LS1 bellhousing bolts instead of five on a 700 swap.
Don't get me wrong I have 4 700 cores, 2 4L80E spares, 6 th400 cores, 4 th350 cores. I only have one spare LS1 4L60E and I'd like to bolt it up to the LS1 it came off of.
