TSP 233/239 vs TSP Torquer Rev2
I've been looking at two TSP cams:
TSP 233/239 .598"/.603" 113 LSA Camshaft
TSP Torquer Rev 2 232/234 .595"/.598" 112+2 LSA Camshaft
Seems to me like they'd produce similar numbers, but the Torquer R2 would make more midrange power. Which one would be better with PRC 2.5s and a SSF 3500 for a street car?

I have been reading on these 2 cams as well over the last couple of days. Planning on getting the H/C package from TSP, as I'm sure you are too. I think with either of these two cams you really can't go wrong. I'm more leaning towards the T2 (232/234) cam myself.
Sorry I'm no help though..

Im having the same dilema right now with the sale they have going on....will the 233/239 with with your typical milled heads or would the T2 be better for heads in the future.

i talked to jason today about the torquer II and the prc 2.5's - i aked what it would take for an 11.1:1 CR with the graphite head gaskets - he said that would require .015 to be milled off the heads but he wouldn't recommend more than .010 milling for P to V clearance with the Torquer II - i'd imagine that margin would narrow even more with the 239 cam

With the 62cc combustion chamber, the PRC 2.5s with the graphite gasket give about a 10.8:1 CR. Still pretty solid. I'm thinking the T2 and the PRC 2.5s would be a pretty nice combo for the street, considering the Torquer 2 has only 9 degrees of overlap at .050".
