My recent experiance with Formato tuning
It had never been tuned and was way out of whack.
Jeremy squeezed me in between two other tunes today and worked his magic.
Deleting all the codes due to headers, shoring up the tranny tuning for the SS3600, throwing in a dry nitrous timing retard table that automatically pulls timing based on the dry shot, pulled out TQ management, and then squared away drivability and WOT tune.
I picked up about 10 peak rwhp but a TON under the curve. Some rpms over 20 tq and 20 rwhp. Car made 317 all motor unlocked and ~440 rwhp on a small dry shot using the new NX dry MAF setup, unlocked. His dry nitrous retard tune works wonders on juice

But the best thing was all the tranny tuning. On the way home the car performed like a fine tuned machine that was MUCH more of a performance setup. Shifts are now smooth and crisp, kickdown is now the way it should be and lockup is very predictable. Its like a damn new car and a JOY to drive!
This is my first auto with a stall....and I learned that a good tune is paramount with an auto/stalled car. Best money I have spent in while.
Next we will see what 440 rwhp will do at the track with some sticky tires. Maybe jet up o a 150 shot. I have a bit of room on the injector duty cycle...ill take it right to 100%. Id like to get it in the 10s.

Al- are you on the stock injectors? if so what was the injector duty cycle. Is that why you didn't hit it with the 150 shot.

Stock 172k mile injectors and stock fuel pump. I didnt hit the 150 shot because I didnt have time. jeremy squeeked me in between two customers so I didnt want to hold up his regulars.
Injector duty cycle was 97% and I was at 11.5 AF. I think a 150 would be fine. That would have put me around 460 rwhp. Keep in mind this is a Yank SS3600 unlocked. IMO that would be around 500 rwhp with a T56.
This was alos using the new NX dry maf kit. I adjusted AF ratio on spray with the MAF kit
Great numbers, can't wait to see what it does at the track. I would like to see this kit hooked up with the nano kit, that would be one bad *** system.
If you went wet you would just need a pump. Of course I am partial to dry for its ease and safety and fear of backfires...especially on larger shots.
42 lb injectors/intank walbro with hotwire is good for 700 rwhp thru the stock rails with dry. Then you could spray a nice 150-175 and shoot for a nice round 600 total rwhp.
