what is the peak rpm for a factory based ls1 ??? where does the power peter off at ? curious

I don't know, but if you have your car dynoed you would know EXACTLY where yours peaks at and begans to decend at.

GM rates the engine's hp peak at 5800 rpm. Yours will vary from that, but not far if you're still stock internals.
