Exclamation automatic shifter swap...

i was looking at installing a different shifter for my car... will any of the automatic shifters fit in a 2002 camaro? are there any conversion kits or anything you can buy to fit them in your factory shifter spot...

Im pretty sure the 98-02 shifters will fit out of any car. There was a thread on here a little while ago about shortening the shifter length and adding a leather boot. Looked pretty nice. Also I'm not sure who carries them, but you can replace the top **** with something different, like a ball shape with a SS logo on it or something.

I too would like a different shifter, and maybe a shorter stick as well

The T-Handle shift **** out of the Impala SS (the body style with the LT1 in it) is REALLY nice (way nicer feel than the Trans-Am t-handle) fits right on:

I keep it in the glove box and alternate between it and the stock one. It is really nice to rest your hand/wrist on.

Pros: Feels really nice...

Cons: Looks large and slightly out of place...

And yes, "That's what she said..."
