Default noob question- SELLER made dash shiney, causing blindspots

how to dull it back down without scratching it? its a bitch when i'm driving with sunlit reflection. Tinting the front window isn't an option.

Any tips? its something i cannot live with (shine reflection in windshield from glossy dash)

This isn't a fix for the dash, but polarized sunglasses cut the glare.

Dish soap should take care of it. So should Windex, alcohol, or 409. I love my shiney dash. Sunglasses do help a lot to cut down on the glare.

Slow and Mustang5.0Hater are dead on.

I use a Meguiars protectant now and some old Aerospace 303 I have laying around, it gives the car the "new" look. Not that silicone bacon grease look.

I agree. Especially on the top on the dash; might as well Armor All the steering while you're at it. :p
