Default Advice for removing xm antenna.

Hey guys quick question. The previous owner installed an XM antenna on the roof of the car with some sort of adhesive and I'm not sure how to remove it without damaging the paint. I tried just pulling on it but its not moving.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I imagine it would be the same process as removing the door moldings. Heat it up with a hair dryer/heat gun (not completely necessary, but it does help loosen the bond), then use some fishing line or something similar to "saw it off." Then to get the residue off, a good set of nails or a plastic scraper and some goof off/goo gone to finish the job.
