Washed and waxed my car today
i got some of that meguiers swirl X and then some mothers wax which was more for dark cars. the NXT wax was 2x the price of the mothers stuff so i went with that and got the swirl X as well. some of the pics have major sun glare (i can't seem to take them without getting any)

i should probably just replace the hubs since that have that rust color to them. if i did i'd probably get some of the ones with black powdercoated centers

Mine looked like that too and sanded them with some 400 grit and painted them black. They turned out great to! It's not something anyone will ever notice, but at least they don't notice rust anymore.

as a matter of fact, i did. i hadn't waxed them in a long time and they were starting to show some swirls and what not so i went over them with the wax. i didn't use the swirl remover on them (they are powdercoated so i didn't figure it would do anything) and the wax was enough to clean them up good.

Very nice job with some 14 year old paint. I know it takes a bit of work, I've got some 16 year old paint on mine as well (blend at the doors). Headlights look fine, did you take a stab at aligning them?
Also, polarizing filters may help with the glare. May have to get creative depending on your camera!

3 washes for my car is probably about 2-3 months. it's kind of a garage queen
and no i didn't get the headlights aligned (well the drivers side is aligned with my loosen the **** method) but the pass side is still off a little. i found the bolts but i was using a socket driver and couldn't reach the second bolt and didn't have a wrench available so i just tightened the nut back down and figured i'd get to it later

yeah a bit. i started having pain in my hand from using the small applicators i was using.
thanks i think the black LT1 WS6 was the best looking of all the LT1 fbodies, maybe even of all 4th gens mine isn't a ws6 b/c it wasn't worth the extra $4-5k at the time i bought mine to get the hood/wheels so i added them myself, but i didn't put badges on or anything like that. the hood and airbox are oem though
