Question on tint
The only thing I really have left to do on my car is window tint. I have held off on this because on my last TA the rear window looked like **** at the top.
So what is the best way to keep the tint from looking like *** at the top of the back window. I am thinking of wetsanding the painted demples so the film will stick to window. Has anyone ever wetsanded the demples. I was going to try this since I have to do the headlights on my 4runner.
I was also thinking of putting a layer of clear coat across them but I am not sure how that would turn out either. Open to any suggestions that have worked.

vinyl strip on the dotmatrix is the way to go...
This is the only picture I have of the one that was on my altima, but it really was a seemless transition. It's like the factory outline of the window where its a flat-ish black near the edges.
Need to get a strip put on my formula too...

If the tint shop is good enough they shouldn't have any problems. My rear hatch has tint that looks like it's been on for a while (judging because it's turned blue) and there are zero bubbles by the dot matrix. However I have heard of the vinyl strip, and people painting over it several times.

What he just said about painting. . . mask it off and use flat black. . . cheaper than gloss and don't matter. Mask ALOT of the area around it off too. Looked just like this dudes previous when done anyways.

If your one of those like me who have the rear window done and are looking for answers to make the dot matrix look better.
I am going to mask mine off. CUT the tint out at the top near the dot matrix and im going to mask and paint. This way theres no dots at all and I dont have to worry about the rear window looking bad.
