Default Side molding issue

ok so the side molding on my 2000 ss has gotten sun burned and is starting to turn a different color. Im thinking about taking it off but im not sure what it would look like and i dont want to pull it off and then regret it. is it worth getting the molding repainted or just pulling it...i was wondering if any one has pictures of their ss or z28 without the molding so i can kind of get an idea of what it will look like, if you can post some up that would be great thanks...

edit, acctually... the black car still has it on i think in the pic. but anyway, take a hair drier, or heat gun (carefully) but you will need some gas of brake cleaner or gue gone to take the glue off. then wax the shyt out of it.

Take it off! Looks way better without it.

This should give you an idea.
I was having fun in PS, added wheels and tint, so don't mind that.
