One of my friends has some Cobat SS Recaro's He's moving over to his 2002 SS. He's got ebony and they are blk/gray so it should work very nice...

the only differences are the dash, console and steering wheel. the seats have a different pattern and different materials as do the door panels. o ya, and the side covers in the hatch have speaker grilles for the monsoon system and older LT1 cars only have the one on the drivers side for the sub.
it can all be done and no problem to switch it.
maybe he has a real fucked up 2002 interior and a super clean 95 interior. THEN it would make sense...lol
