hey guys what do you think, trade my black zr1's 9.5 and 11 for these c6z06's17x9.5 on all sides or keep what i got? couple old pics from this fall and some pics i found of the c6z06's on red. other mods i have coming are the SLP bowtie grill, red and black powdercoated calipers, some slotted rotors, and berger is on the car just no pics. also have black halos as you can see in the sig.

if i keep the zr1's ill put nittos DR's on them as the tires are about shot and they run narrow and wont rub on the 11s. if i go c6z06 ill get some toyo DR's as i heard they are more true to their real width and will full up the well better on that 9.5 rim.

if i do the c6z06's ill proly drop it with some strano/koni's some time next year hopefully, maybe next winter.

I love the 11's out back. I say you should keep them, drop it, and do a black berger.

i personally like the z06s better but the 11 inch wide wheel is better to have than the 9.5

already got the berger, and i couldnt see dropping it with those back there. i already have tire slicing and rubbing in places... not bad but if i throw it in a corner that seems to be where i see problems

i like the look of the 11 better but when it comes to performance and traction it seems like a hindrance so far since ive had them...i get the same traction out of a 9.5 or 11 when running a DR it seems but top end and spinning that big heavy bitch seems to suffer somewhat. thats why im looking for opinions i dont know what to do lol. seems when i throw the car around too the wheels contact the inside of the wheel wells.

DEFINITELY the Z06 wheels.

For some reason I never cared for ZR1's in black, I think they look a million times better polished or chrome. Those Z06 wheels look great especially in black.

well i pulled the trigger and im glad i did, got the front two on but the rotors and calipers look like **** but itll be fixed before the car comes out of storage.

here are some teasers of the rears...i gotta get some DR's for them

Good choice...I did the same thing with my car, went from Zr1 to Zo6 and love it. Did you get 17's all around?

ya DR's are just too expensive for 18's and im thinking of lowering it next winter. my dad was the one making me doubt it and as soon as i mounted the z06's he was like that looks good!

I have the chrome zr1's which I'm putting back on my car but in black they just don't look as good. Go with the Z06's. But dont black out your tail lights with the berger pannel IMO.

no not yet some of those pics arent mine just to show the wheels.

i have an SLP Bowtie grille waiting to go on, as well as powerstop rotors and pads, powdercoated calipers should be on there way soon, GS stripes, and itll be tinted come Spring as well. Should be a night and day difference from this past year!

ill update this thread or start a new one as i get stuff done.

guess i never saw this thread if you hadnt bough the rims heres my view
if you kept the zr1s lower it. if you got the z06 rm sblack out the lens and berger lower it and add the rs wing and paitn it black.

i am lucky i bought me some black zr1's fro spares tires and have gunmetal with a chrome lip z06s all 17s
