Default Camaro Z28 AFTERMARKET HOODS!!!

Getting a 02 Camaro Z28 Sunset Orange Metallic & it has Black with chrome lip ZO6 wheels on it now. The windows are tinted which looks real good to match the black top due to the T-Tops. I wanted to know of some hood recommendations. I was thinking of maybe getting a Black hood, but SOM is also an option. Anything besides an SS hood will be considered. Kinda like cowl's but not too big. Give some opinions, with a link & maybe even a pic attatched. Thanks.

I would go with something different

IMO the Sunoco hoods are about as played out as the "berger" panel. You see them just about everywhere

Here is what your three options would be....

Harwood 2.5 Cowl Hood

Sunoco Hood

Ultra Z Ram Air Hood

I think I would go with the Harwood hood......

^that does not count as the harwood hood. that is whistler's 1 of 1 hood that was then copied by harwood, and in the process they made a hood that does not flow nearly as well with 98-02's as the original version did. the harwood 2.5 is a no-go in my book. but their version does look great on the 93-97's

As for the sunoco being played out... its about as played out as the CME. its something you will rarely ever see in person, if ever, yet it SEEMS like everyone has one, because if you come here to this section of the forum enough, you hear every time someone gets one on their car, or posts up pictures of their car with it.

I meant to capitalize "aftermarket" only, not "hoods" as well. I just didnt want any one posting OEM SS hoods. Sorry if it bothered you.

Actually i dont think i've ever seen a sunoco hood in person, or any other aftermarket hood on a camaro around here. Just SS hoods on Z's.

DaRReLL- The hardwood looks ok, but a little plain. I do like the sunoco alot tho.

To All Who Have Posted On This Thread- Thankyou for the replies.

haha, no it didnt bother me, just curious ... but yeah, just aftermarket being stressed would have had a more appropriate tone. internet talk is like second language

I have a 4 inch Glasstek on mine. It's nice. I like it cause it has that little line down the center. It's cool. And with the Sunoco it comes so wide when it gets to the windshield, you can't see anything. You have to sit way up. All I have to do is lean a little to the left. Sunoco's are nice though.
