Painted wheels, yay or nay?

Ive been tossing the idea around of painting/powdercoating my wheels. So i did a quick photoshop and honestly kinda like it, how bout you guys?

I like them black instead of the chrome. With the chrome they just stand out way to much.

I say yes, but I'm biased. I think they are a bit too flashy.

The photoshop looks great, but I am biased against chrome wheels. Leaving it unpainted at the lip looks very clean.

Chrome works well with some wheels like C5 Z06s and iForged Aeros, but the ones you have on would look much better painted.

don't take any offense it's just positive criticism. It's just too much chrome IMO.

wow didnt kno this was "that" type of forum...

however, That photoshop looks great and in regards to the wheels I think they look much better in black, which must mean a lot since i am black so that means id prefer the biggest possible chrome rims you could fit. (lol)
