Default Looking for a cool steering wheel, any thoughts?

Being that my car is a 1998 it has the older style steering wheel. It was fine until recently when the car's appearance has been majorly updated.

Basically, the car is being styled after ZL1 and Dick Harrell cars (front bumper, houndstooth racing seats, ebony interior from a 2001, etc...) and all of those cars had the newer style steering wheel.

Long story short, my steering wheel is just really becoming an eyesore to me...

SO, I thought about making a 2010 Camaro wheel fit inside...

However, it would have useless buttons and looks so much like aftermarket wheels (three spoke) I figured I might as well just get an aftermarket wheel. I just have no clue what to get that will look "modern" and good in our interior...

So far, my only thoughts are a Flaming River Waterfall...

What do you think? Any other ideas?

I like the one you posted, but I was thinking of going with a 2010 wheel and making the buttons work, cause I'm actually starting to miss my stereo controls. I still have my stock 2000 wheel, if you want it...

Tackle this project and I'll follow suit.
I miss the feel of this wheel and have thought of what it would look like in my T/A. (Minus the woodgrain, obviously).

I quite like the wheel that users Bob Dole (Bdole?), and TheCrazySweed have.

TheCrazySweed has a sparco wheel IIRC.

I was gonna post this one. I like most of the Sparcos too. The race versions are a little smaller but they're covered in Alcantara.

That's a badass wheel, but I thought it wouldn't fit in our cars because of a difference colum and the airbags are configured differently.

If a substitute wheel with functioning radio controls is available I would seriously consider it.

No idea on that. I'm sure there is someway you could get it to fit but the airbag might be a problem.

^that, i bet we all show up in the same threads from ages past, all of them with the same comlaints.

I do like all the ones posted a lot, (which is saying something for aftermarket wheels which i normally dislike), but I want airbags and buttons, plus the stock/nice look these all have is what im lookin for.

You might just use a 2000-2002 Camaro wheel with steering wheel controls

i like this momo commando r wheel and 3+ years later, it is holding up flawlessly. the car is a kick in the pants to drive and i think the stock wheel was limiting that. you can still find it in stock at a lot of places, but i don't think they make it anymore (in all black leather).

i'd recommend a momo wheel for the quality alone, but they also have a few different styles http://www.momousa.com/products/prod...html?limit=all
