Default Triple pillar pod doesn't match...what to do

Just bought a triple pillar pod and it is black(ebony) and my interior is grey(charcoal). What are my options to make it look nice. I thought about getting an ebony pillar for the passenger side to match but then it still doesn't match the rest of the car. Auto meter says it's paintable to match the interior but I don't think I want to get into that. Thanks for any help.

I would just say to paint it to match the gray interior, that's what i did, and what most do, it's not hard, just buy the primer, and paint, or find a good body shop guy to do it, that's what i did, a friend of ours runs a body shop, and does custom airbrushing, and what not, so he painted all or pillar pods to match the car's interior.

I'm finishing up installing mine this weekend and I was unable to find one to match the charcoal interior I've got either. We had a thread going in this forum a while back about this called 'Painting A-Pillar Pod' or something like that. One of the other members found a website for World Upholstery, and they can either send you an SEM match or custom match to a piece you send them for a little more $$$. I sent them my fuse panel cover from the left side of the dash and they matched it perfectly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> In SEM colors, the graphite is a very close match. If necessary, you can call and talk with Jamie there...she was very helpful. Aside from painting it, I'm not sure what your other options may be.

one thing you can do, is find an interior specialist, they die the leather and all types of things, they would re die it to match, i had my q logic box died to match my interior, and it cost me about 65 dollars, but they do a great job, sometimes they like to hang out at used car lots becuase they are redieing the seats of leather interiors, and they look great afterwords, like brand new,

here is one in the dallas area:

Texas Dyenamics
Auto Interior Specialists
Dye and repair
Digital Pager (214) 993-1968

if you want to see some pics of my sub box:

no problem

im not sure what color you need, but a good auto parts store will have what you need, its just a spray dye for carpet and vinyl, if yoo can't find it at a shop find an auto magic, pro, malco, distributor they will have it on there truck,

Brad, there is a sticker on your drivers door. At the bottom it will say BC/CC and a number that is the exterior paint code. Just to the right of it should be your interior paint code. I believe it starts with an I. Hope this helps.
