Default Finally Started on the Engine Bay!

I still have a LOT of cleaning to do in here, but it's getting cold again.

Don't look at my headers

More to do once it gets warmer out. Is there anything you can do with all the injector wires and crap?

Looks good man, love that intake. My engine bay is to far gone to rescue, I wouldn't know where to begin but I probably should get around to actually cleaning it up some.

It's never too late Just gotta have the motivation haha. After doing a rebuild on my WS6, I always wanted to drop the K-Member on this one and clean/paint EVERYTHING.

It only takes like 30 mins tops to get the valve covers off. Literally:

Disconnect all spark plug wires from coils
Unplug main coil pack harness
5 or so bolts holding the coil bracket on (each side)
Remove coil pack bracket
4 bolts for each valve cover
Done!

The intake on the other hand.. another 30 minutes or so if you've done it before

Oh quick question.. if you guys didn't notice the AIR pump is still there, just the hose isn't connected. If I remove the pump completely will I get an SES?

You should wash the engine... It's pretty dirty aside from the pieces you painted. Sanding down the headers and painting them with 2000 degree paint or having them coated would be a good idea too.

You should be getting an SES already with the hose not connected... Oh, and you can use fuel rail covers to hide the wires and coils.
