Opinions on RK Sport CF dash kit
I am seriously considering the RK Sport CF dash kit. Any more detailed info on the kit? The site isn't very descriptive. Does anyone have the kit and what do they think of it? It's a lot of money for me, so I don't want to waste it.
Here's a link to the kit:

Re: Opinions on RK Sport CF dash kit
As far as buyin from RKsport, i have no experience w/ their customer service, so i cant tell you how that is...
As far as buying the CF kit, to me, it depends on what color your car is. A darker color like Black, NBM, SOM or something like that, would probably look alright on the inside w/ a CF kit... Also on the interior color. If its an ebony interior, it'd look better than if it where the oak/cream interior. But, thats just my opinion.

Which kit from RK?? the CF "sticker" kit (which I dont care for but is of good quality).. Or the more expensive overlay kit? (which I havent seen but have been told looks nice) - this is the kit where molded covers go over you factory OEM parts.
I have their older kit where real CF is laid on the OEM parts then epoxied.. ran $700 or so back then but was a great product..
The CF in a black/graphite interior is a nice subtle accent and I get quite a few compliments on mine. Here is a pic:

I think CF would look good if you have a dark interior.. im not sure on the neutral but I feel it would look great also.. CF when done right is a nice "classy" accent (IMO)..
Hope this helps

It sells for 350 but my wife got me the wrong one and i'm gonna sell it for 300 shipped. It's the silver and black glossy kit for an M6 too. If your interested let me know and i'll send ya a pic of it

I think it's the overlay kit but I'm not exactly sure. It's $595. Can you check the link and tell me what you think?

Re: Opinions on RK Sport CF dash kit
I had rk sports carbon fiber kit in my old car it was real carbon over laid on the factory parts it looked real good. If it is the stick on stuff it is crapy for that kind of money.

Call Tom Jarrell at 704-460-1460 you send him your factory parts and he will cover them. I had some stuff done and it looks better than the rk stuff

Re: Opinions on RK Sport CF dash kit
I called RKsport and talked to them about the kit, and it is real molded cf and overlay stock trim. Sounds like good quality. I ordered it yesterday. It's on sale right now by the way
I ordered the cf grille also, it's on sale too
