Default 6 months into it...what do you think?

All I have left to do is drive it!! It was built on a budget. It's not perfect but it definitely turns heads.

My brother just sold his 67 Camaro. It had a 454 with a 4 speed and was white with black stripes. The motor was basically stock but it did have a carb/intake with headers. The wheels were Cragar SS which were really popular back in the 70's. I had a 71, 74 and a new 81 Camaro when I got out of high school, so I'm no stranger to the older gens either.

Thanks y'all...It is a 68. For some reason 68 is my year. 67 and 69's look different to me for some reason...even though all Camaro's are bad a$$, I'm sure there is a year or generation you like the most. In regards to the budget question by BOBS99SS, The budget was 10k...It cost me a total of $11,500.00. It is a lot but in the grand scheme of things, the outcome is not too shabby. BTW, That includes everything from interior, paint and body to an LS1 with 4L60E and everything to install it. (It also includes the cost of the car :-) )....I will post more pics later on tonight. I am stationed over seas at the moment and the connections is terrible to say the very least.

Looks great, nothing wrong with budget builds either...don't have to worry as much about driving them.

Man thats awesome that you got the car done for that much you need to let me in on some of your secrets on how you did it. That interior is gorgeous. I think I've got that much in my car now and I didnt even do a lsx swap. I agree with you on the 67 and 69's I hate the circle marker lights on the 67's and I just don't like 69's the only 69 id own is a zl1
