Locking Fuel Door
Does anyone offer a locking fuel door for the Trans Am? Something that's a STOCK look/style, just with a lock of some sort? With gas prices on a steady rise I'd enjoy having something there to deter gas thieves.

Unfortunately not! I asked the guy that imported my car & he ordered it for me along with locking wheel nuts, I'm pretty sure it came in a GM box though & it's a perfect fit.
Edit: I can try & have a quick look tonight when I get home and see if there's a serial number on it.

I had a Stant locking gas cap for a short while. The locking mechanism became unreliable in less than a year (I had a hard time getting the cap off) so I went back to the stock cap. Also, the key is a non-standard size and I couldn't find someone to make a copy.
I wonder what can be done for the 2010+ Mustangs since they don't have gas caps.

Well working on something along those lines right now.Recently filled in rear keyhole (for light up BADBIRD) so hooking up a latch to pull to pop hatch in case battery dies (located in rear) and not able to get to. I wanted a pic on lever of rear hatch so snooped around and found latch for fuel/hatch and thought that would be different and help smooth out look. Got door off gm truck and is just crimped on.

I've siphoned gas out of almost anything that runs off of it. I used to have a squeeze pump siphon like the large VP drums have. Worked really well for getting gas out of my 10 gallon "drum" into my lawn mower.

The easy part is putting on different door GM pickups, blazers, vans seem to have 6 inch round door without raised notch.Went to junk yard and looked around and got 93-97 door/hinge and door/hinge off pickup.just have to uncrimp and recrimp on new one.I have to get bracket welded on and respring to open when cable is pulled. Also making pod for levers next to seats. been busy so this might just get it done.heres some pics if it helps
