One day engine bay makeover
So I decided it was time to clean up the bay. Took me about 8 hours total between filling holes, moving grounds, sanding, prepping, painting. The PCM wire mod was previously done before this. I think it came out pretty good for rattle can and painting outside with some wind to boot! Thoughts?

thanks! I wish i had more before pics on this computer, the towers were pretty bad beforehand. And yeah, 2 light coats of clear and one somewhat heavier. Definitely could have been better without the wind but for 30 bucks and a days work. It's a good improvement i think

What did you use to fill the holes? I'm planning on stripping down most of the engine bay soon. I was just going to sand the rough spots and spray it, but now I'm thinking I want to fill in all the holes too.

I think you're just seeing things maybe from the angles in the pic, its pretty uniform color all around.
As far as hole filling I used 3m bondo plastic metal. Dries pretty quick to sand, like I said i did it all in a day

I think it looks good, working on mine now, i plan just to do all the prep and tow it to my painter just to hit the shock towers/front suport, i think i will hold off on the fire wall untill the motor swap, did you use a high temp clear?also did you use that perfect match spray paint, think its dupicolor but its good stuff
