Default Powdercoat or paint chrome?

This may be a dumb question. I was just wondering though that if I could get some chrome wheels at a good price, could they be powdercoated or painted black? I'de leave the lip chrome. I've always liked chrome better than polished anyways Thanks!

Paint won't stick to chrome very well. The wheels would have to be dechromed, then have the lip polished, then have the wheel powdercoated. What kind of wheels are you thinking about doing this to?

Eh, I was thinking maybe some Z06 wheels, but nevermind. I'm probably gonna go with the Collector's Edition wheels. Thanks for the reply.
