leather interior advice

Default leather interior advice

I have a 1998 z28 with the cloth interior and ive been looking around for leather but i cant find anything other that ebay and i really dont want to have to shell out 1100$ just for interior ... but i really the leather does anyone know where i could find it cheaper ?

What color? I woild think used is your best option.

Id like to get black but if i got a good deal on something else i would take that too i just like tue feel of leather . I was deciding when i bought the car between it and a gto and i said if i bought the camaro it had to get leather

6LE is now making leather covers I think.. they look nice, but not the cheapest. Just keep your eyes peeled. There's always someone parting out an ebony car or swapping out their nice leather for race seats.

6le seat covers are really nice,a few other places to get nice seats (cleveland pick a part) they have a ebay store and are huge into f bodys, (craigslist) someone is always parting a car out,(hawks third gen) they sell brand new seats/covers etc,

I wanted to get mine recovered but i need new padding as well,i wish i could find my exact seats,we found the buildsheet on my car and it was 1of3 white ss,with grey/red int,i thought that was a cool fact on the car,i wish it made it worth big bucks but just another cheap *** camaro lol

Yeah they are i sent ya a pm.

For about the same price you could get 6le seats that my plan right now i have tan seats in a all black interior!

One option is too re-cover yourself.

Alante is like a fake leather and is pretty nice. You could probably do the swap much cheaper than pre-fabbed stuff.

I bought a heavy duty sewing machine (75$ craigslist), fabric (100$), thread/ripper/needles (30$).

Now I had some old cloth seats in the garage so I could take my time, but its definately worth a thought.















I am not quite done yet so I can't post final pics, but so far so good.
