Filler panel choices. Clean black look, decals, or custom? Not sure what route I want to go with my Firebird Trans Am project. Btw this is with the '98-'02 honeycomb tail lights.
#1 Should lightly sand and polish for the clean black look?
#2 Firebird/TA with bird decals
#3 Custom? (I've seen people do light up birds, etc)
Which route has everyone gone or wants to go? Pictures will help decide so post them up!

#1 only works when the keyhole is shaved.. otherwise it just stands out as a big black panel for a key hole..
If you want a nice, clean, subtle look without shaving the keyhole, do a combo of 1 and 2, using black decals. The bird/TA won't stand out as much, but they'll be visible enough to take the focus away from the keyhole.
current panel. had to change out the shaved panel when my key fob stopped working. custom bird and font

Wow your car is amazing looking and a similar look I'm eventually going for with the red, black, CETA mod, and quad exhaust tips. Yeah I'm debating if I want to shave the key hole or not as I like having that option still in case the key fob did go out like you said.
