New look, rear tires and rims...
Never thought I would see the day I put slicks on the car. Picked up some 16" z28 rims used and bought some new Hoosier QTP's for the track. A different look but it goes with the cage, supercharger, etc.
The guys who live around me are a bad influence. Honestly just a couple times down the track and it will be more pics for the album.

Todd, You need to move away from those bad influence guys ( Michigan would be a good choice ), it does look though. I had a 1969 4-4-2 I drove on the streets with GoodYear slicks, once the tires became warm they picked up alot of stone pebbles. You might want to watch your lower 1/4 pannels to see if there getting stone chips because of the slicks, this also might be a good time to get that four post lift to help in the cleaning.

with how you are about your car i'd drive to the track on street tires then change to the slicks..that's what i do. or trailor it
you prolly already know this but racing a car and keeping it show quality is like trying to win the lotto. i know i've never had the time and energy to do it. even though i have show quality paint job and stuff now the main thing for my car is still going to be racing and i know i'm just gonna have to put more time into cleaning it than i used to..no leaving 1" of solid caked on rubber in the wheel wells for example
have fun at the track, post up the results

I know, rubber all over...have to see what it will do at least one time.
Mark you are right I plan on taking it pretty easy off the line.
I am putting a lot of time and money in the tuning, I will bring the boost down after I get the 1/4 time I want, just want to be able to say it is as fast as it looks!
Again, it just looks cool more than anything to me, lol.
