Default Clear Front Plate Light - Where NOT To Buy LEDs

Just wanted to post something about the clear plate mod(since they make them again!) to make it light up. I ordered LEDs from these people and don't want any fellow F-Body people to make the same mistake I did.

According to the title, it seems you get 100 LEDs per bid. Not true as I found out after I recieved them. I know it was my fault for not reading the entire auction, but it'd help if the title wasn't misleading. I also know that I got what I paid for as it was too cheap and should have known better. Who wants to buy just a single LED? Doubtful anyone on E-Bay would and for single LEDs, that's why they have Fry's Electronics and Radioshack. If you do a search on E-Bay for "100 White LED" or pick your own color/quanity, you'll see that you buy everything else in quanity.

Not to sound like an ***, but it says that you are bidding for only one. Here are the first three sentences in the description.

Here for Auction are 100 BRIGHT WHITE NEAR FULL SPECTRUM LED's for the engineer and experimentor in a Dutch Auction where the bid price is for one unit. Bid for one. Get one.

This is, of course, unless he edited the discription after your dealing with him. 100 LEDS with 10000MCD brightness for $1.25 would be a great deal! Usually they are a couple dollars each. Yeah, selling one LED in an online aution is stupid, he should be selling them in packs of ten or all at once.

Whats cheap about them? Do they not work or not look good? LEDs are simple devices. They either work or dont. Did they not last long?
