Default Bowtie Emblem finally installed!!

I finally got my '69 Chevelle Bowtie Emblem attached to my grill. Haven't put the grill back on the car yet, but took some pics of it off the car. A buddy of mine made his own backing to hold the grill on. Check out the pics I attached.

Looks good. But his custom backing looks like it will make the grille stick out a bit from the bumper... hard to tell how thick the backing plate is.

Just use a dab of metal epoxy, real easy.

Sorry guys, I was away from my computer all day. I think I am going to have to shave off a tiny bit of the ends sticking out to get it sitting flush on the bumber. I will respond back one I get the grill back on the car this weekend.

As for the blanket, I got it at a craft show at my local mall a few years ago. They usually have the show in the spring. If I didn't miss it and it is coming up, I will post and let you know and we can work something out if anyone wants me to pick one up.

I will post pics of the grill on the car once I get it on. Thanks for the compliments!
