Default Will this shifter **** fit my car???

Ok so I have a 98 trans am and was wondering if a t-handle b&m shift **** will fit . It says for autos and manuals and has thread inserts for
SAE 0.5-20; 3/8-24; 3/8-16; 5/16-18; 1/2-20

So does anyone know what size thread the 4l60e shifter **** is... Id love to get a better looking shifter as the faded leather is horrible haha.

The auto shift **** is not threaded. Its held on by a clip. I dont remeber the company that makes it so you have to search on here or google, but an adapter is made for these cars to use a threaded ****.

You need one of these:
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...pter-f-body-1/
You'll take your factory **** off, and install this. Then you can install any aftermarket shift **** with a M16x1.50 thread pattern. You'll shift by pushing the whole **** down.

Here's my MBA adapter with a Hurst T-handle. The leather boot is from an '03 Impala.
