Default 93-97 Camaro custom headlights

Hey everyone, I did the truck headlight swap in my 94 z28,

Im not sure with what bulbs to go with, I want kind of white HIDs (maybe a lil blue in it) and what bulb to go with for the high beam?

can someone give me a direct link to an HID kit? Its 88-98 chevy truck headlights in a 93-97 camaro. Ive never messed with HIDs before till now.

Thank you.

Any pics of the headlights not on the car?
Any pics of how they are installed?

Is the low beam a projector?
What bulb does it use?

Just double check the projectors so they dont say, "Do not use HID bulb" I was going to use some ebay projectors until I found that out and went with C6 projectors.

Even if they say that they may still work OK with 35W. The Sonar projectors for 98-02 Camaros from ebay say "NO HID" however testing has shown them to work decently well.

That little LED between the lamps looks out of place and goofy IMO. I would unplug that for sure. Other than that they look good to me! Nice setup

Unless you tell us either the brand of the headlights or you take the bulbs out and take pictures to show us the bulbs WE CAN'T tell you what HID to get, because we simply don't know what bulbs those particular UNNAMED aftermarket lenses use.

@Daniel.

They are halo projector 88-98 Chevy truck headlights. I believe they use a 9006 bulb. I aske around some and I read to just get a 98-02 camaro HID kit. So I'll probably be getting the camaro kit with 9006 and 5000k color

OK, first off Halo Projectors are a STYLE NOT A BRAND, secondly there is NO SUCH THING as a 98-02 camaro HID KIT (unless your talking about the BLS projector retrofit kit), HID KITS (bulbs and ballasts) are UNIVERSAL, you just need to get one with the RIGHT bulbs that fit the headlights, Now the standard OEM chevy truck headlights where 9006, but that doesn't mean that the aftermarket ones are, in fact in my experience most aftermarket projector headlights tend to use H1, H3 or some other H style bulb that are actually fog light bulbs, this is why we need to SEE a PICTURE of the bulbs that are in them so you don't go and buy the wrong HID bulbs.

OK, that Amazon listing is got crap for info on it, where gonna need you to pull a bulb and take a picture.

I'm not familiar with that ballast style of that Ebay HID kit and the fact they actually try to suck you in by listing a specific vehicle application for something that is UNIVERSAL to any vehicle that uses that bulb type would make me hesitant to buy from them, honestly go a few dollars more and get these ballasts

Zenex 35W AC Universal Replacement HID Digital Ballast (2 units) : Amazon.com : Automotive Zenex 35W AC Universal Replacement HID Digital Ballast (2 units) : Amazon.com : Automotive

(DO NOT buy there HID kit, as it comes with the crappy ballasts) and then get whatever style bulbs you end up needing from this listing by choosing bulb type and color temp.

JLM 9006 5000K HID Xenon Bulb x 1 pair (HB4, OEM White) : Amazon.com : Automotive JLM 9006 5000K HID Xenon Bulb x 1 pair (HB4, OEM White) : Amazon.com : Automotive

between those 2 you will have everything that comes in an HID kit except "mounting brackets" (which you don't need because the ballast come with double sided tape), it may be 60 instead of 35 but the quality of the ballast will be better, (these ballast don't flicker like cheaper ones do). Some places will tell you that if your HID kit flickers you need a wire harness, but I have ballast that flicker and I can hook these up in place of those and not have flicker, so the quality of the ballast is more important in my book.

Nope that isn't H3, that is H1. H3 is a short stubby thing.

If designed properly an H1 projector isn't bad for a headlight.

However, a 9006 bulb will NOT fit. Don't even try.

Same projector style I used when I put an H1 hid in it, the output was so terrible.
